It is located at 1st and Whiterock on Coal Creek in downtown Crested Butte. The sound of running water from the creek can be heard through the open windows or enjoyed from the back deck. The location is very quiet and private, with views from the balcony of Paradise Divide and Mount Crested Butte.
The spacious master bedroom has a fireplace, sitting area for reading, and a king size bed. The en suite bath has two sinks, a make-up vanity, large tub and steam shower, as well as a state of the art telescope for awesome star gazing.
The guest bedrooms are large by Crested Butte standards; one overlooking Coal Creek and one facing the front patio/yard area.
The kitchen has granite counter tops and is well appointed. The kitchen is open to the living room, which has a beautiful fireplace, along with stereo, tv, and DVD player. Furniture is casual and comfortable. The dining table seats 6 to 8 comfortably.
The large loft apartment has a spring-free, comfortable fold-out queen sofa, a fold-out twin chair, card table, and tastefully appointed tile bathroom with shower. This room is great for kids. It has its own flatscreen tv and DVD player. All televisions on the property have satellite tv with movie channels.
The upstairs office is private, with views of Coal Creek, and is set up with computer, printer, fax machine, and office supplies.
The outdoor deck sits next to Coal Creek with a view of the landscape behind it. It includes large hot tub for four and outdoor gas grill.
The yard is fenced and gated, ideal for children. Inside and out, the home is meticulously maintained and provides a comfortable and relaxing vacation setting. Its owners have been property owners in Crested Butte for over 20 years.
Elk Avenue’s shops and restaurants are two blocks away. The town’s free mountain bus shuttle is little more than a block away. Hiking and Nordic trails are even closer! A car is not required; everything is within easy walking distance, regardless of the season.
