Christy Sports is our go-to option for on-the-mountain ski rentals!
They are located at the base area in the Treasury Center– right near the Red Lady Lift. They offer free ski storage to Academy Place guests (regardless of if you’re renting with them or not), and a discount on rentals for our guests as well! For the Academy Place discount, reach out to our operations team to get the link/code.
Mountain Express Bus Service
Mountain Express is a free and very convenient year-round bus system for visitors and residents of Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte.
The Town Shuttle route connects Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte. This route operates every 15 minutes during the ski season and every 40 minutes during the summer. It is a six to seven minute ride from Mt. Crested Butte to the 4-Way stop in Crested Butte. The bus stops are conveniently located throughout the Town of Crested Butte. The Gunnison Valley RTA Friends of Flight Program
The RTA Free Bus runs a loop between Gunnison, Crested Butte, and Mt. Crested Butte. The current schedule can be viewed here.
