He is one of the leading members with a Bachelor of fine arts degree from Western State Colorado University. He does workshops at the Santa Reparata International School of Art in Florence, Italy, and the Sahli School of Art in Evergreen, Colorado.
His paintings reflect the rural and authentic beauty of Gunnison Valley. He recalled that it has been his honor to be surrounded by nature and to capture the essence of that beauty in his landscape art.

Since that time, the People’s Fair has evolved from random tidbits of art to a well-rounded and intentional art show. Meg Carver, a director of the People’s Fair and an oil and acrylic painter, recalled how important it was for the People’s Fair to be just as it says — for the people!
